Terms of Service
Effective July 17, 2026 · Apollo Projects LLC ("we," "us")
1. Not an official warning service
AlertAtlas aggregates hazard information from public, official sources (USGS, NOAA/NWS, NHC, NASA, GDACS, and others) for convenience and awareness. It is not a substitute for official emergency alerts, Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), NOAA Weather Radio, or instructions from local authorities. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Never rely solely on AlertAtlas for life-safety decisions.
2. Notifications are best-effort
Push notifications depend on your browser, device settings, network conditions, and third-party delivery infrastructure we do not control. We make reasonable efforts to deliver alerts promptly but do not guarantee delivery or timeliness.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Premium is billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. We don't offer prorated refunds, but if something went wrong, email apolloprojectsllc@gmail.com and we'll make it right. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
Don't scrape, resell, or overload the service, misrepresent its data as official warnings, or attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apollo Projects LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including losses arising from reliance on hazard data, missed or delayed alerts, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
6. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. See also our Privacy Policy.
