What we collect

• Account data — email address and login credentials, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). We never see your password.
• Saved locations— names and coordinates you choose to save (e.g. "Home"), used solely to compute nearby-event alerts. Adding locations is optional.
• Preferences — your category filters and alert thresholds.
• Push subscriptions — a browser-generated endpoint that lets us deliver notifications you opted into. No message content is stored by third parties.
• Payment data — processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference, never card numbers.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data. Ever.
• We do not track your real-time location. Geolocation is used only at the moment you tap "Use my location," with your browser's permission, to save a point you chose.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Service providers

We rely on Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. Map and hazard data come from public sources (USGS, NOAA/NWS, NHC, NASA, GDACS, RainViewer, WAQI, OpenFreeMap); your identity is not shared with them.

Your rights

You can delete saved locations and disable notifications in-app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, or to request a copy of your data, email apolloprojectsllc@gmail.com — we honor deletion requests within 30 days. California and EU residents have additional rights under CCPA/GDPR, which we respect for all users regardless of location.
